Krepšinio naujienų portalas „Eurobasket.com“ kiekvieną savaitę renką geriausias Lietuvos moterų krepšinio lygos (LMKL) žaidėjas. 26-ą savaitę geriausia pripažinta Vilniaus „Kibirkšties-VIČI-IKI“ komandos žaidėja Lina Pikčiutė. 22-ejų metų vidurio puolėja praėjusios savaitės LMKL rungtynėse Utenoje pelnė 24 taškus, po krepšiais sugriebė 14 atšokusių kamuolių ir padėjo „Kibirkšties-VIČI-IKI“ komandai 85:76 palaužti „Utenos“ ekipą.
22-year old forward Lina Pikciute (192-F-90) had an amazing evening in the last round for league’s best team Kibirkstis-Tiche and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 26. She had a double-double of 24 points and 14 rebounds, while her team beat Utena (#7, 5-21) 85-76. It allowed Kibirkstis-Tiche to consolidate first place in the Lithuanian LMKL. Kibirkstis-Tiche have a solid 22-4 record.
Po šios pergalės „Kibirkšties-VIČI-IKI“ komanda išliko pirmoje turnyro lentelės vietoje. Sostinės krepšininkės yra iškovojusios 23 pergales ir patyrusios 4 nesėkmes. „Eurobasket.com“ portalas pabrėžia, kad L.Pikčiutė šį sezoną demonstruoja itin solidžius rezultatus ir atkovotų kamuolių kategorijoje visoje lygoje užima 8-ą poziciją (vid. 7,5 atk. kam.)
Antroje vietoje, pagal „Eurobasket.com“, šią savaitę liko Kauno „Aisčių-LSU“ komandos žaidėja Laura Svarytė, kuri mače su Marijampolės „Sūduvos-Mantingos“ komanda pelnė 19 taškų ir atkovojo 17 kamuolių. Kauno klubas po įtemptos kovos 67:66 palaužė Marijampolės krepšininkes.
Trečią vietą geriausių savaitės žaidėjų reitinge užėmė „Rūtos-Universiteto“ komandos vidurio puolėja Lidziya Panasiuk. Legionierė iš Baltarusijos mače su Vilniaus „Jaunųjų talentų“ komanda pelnė 20 taškų ir atkovojo 6 kamuolius.

It was one of impressive evenings for Pikciute as usually she does not deliver so high stats. Pikciute has impressive league stats. She is in league’s top in rebounds (8th best: 7.5rpg).
Second best performed player last round was Laura Svaryte (190-C/F-92) of Aistes-LSU. She is a in her first season at Aistes-LSU. In the last game Svaryte recorded impressive double-double of 19 points and 17 rebounds. It was enough for Aistes-LSU to edge slightly higher-ranked Suduva (#4, 16-10) by 1 point 67-66. Aistes-LSU’s 5th position in the standings has not changed. Her team lost some distance to top teams. But 13-13 record is not bad and everything may still change. Svaryte is a newcomer at Aistes-LSU and quickly became one of team’s most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.8ppg (#4). She also registered 12.1 boards per game.
Third place about best performers goes to center Lidia Panasiuk (187-C-85) of Ruta Siauliai (#6). Panasiuk scored 20 points and grabbed six rebounds. She was a key player of Ruta Siauliai, leading her team to a 73-45 easy win against slightly lower-ranked Jaunieji Talentai (#8, 1-25). The chances of Ruta Siauliai not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 17 games, recording just nine victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Panasiuk could try to bring Ruta Siauliai’s a little bit higher in the standings. Panasiuk has individually a great season in Lithuania. After 26 games, she made it on the list of the league’s leaders in points with 16.0ppg (7th best).
